Dr. James D Pike is a native of Indianapolis who attended medical school in Kansas City, graduating from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 1984.
After 10 years in the United States Army as a physician, Dr. Pike completed his training in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.
Dr. Pike’s role as a hospitalist began during his work at a long-term acute care hospital beginning in 1994. He then formed his own corporation in 2007 while developing an association with the Indiana Orthopedic Hospital on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Dr. Pike currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer of UrgentCare Indy, PrimaryCare Indy, LungCare Indy, and GeriCare Indy, where he oversees a team of nurse practitioners and medical staff who seek to provide convenient and affordable care, with care, every day to our Indianapolis neighbors.
